Interesante imagen del Zerex piloteado por Bruce Mac Laren, Jim Clark en Lotus 30 y Graham Hill en Ferrari 275 , el lugar: Goodwood.

Thank you. The four photos were taken at an SCCA (amateur) race at Hammond, Louisiana, in May of 1965. The driver was Dave Morgan, who owned the Zerex at that time. He bought it from John Mecom, who had bought it from Bruce McLaren.

I have sent you several photos of a Corvette Grand Sport which raced at the same event, a race which does not usually show up in the history of those cars.

Las 4 fotos fueron tomadas en una carrera de la SCCA (Sport Car Club of America) en Hammond Louisiana, en mayo de 1965. El piloto fue Dave Morgan que era el due?o del Zerex en esa ?poca. Se lo compro a John Mecom que a su vez lo compro a Bruce Mclaren.

Te envi? varias fotos del Corvette Grand Sport que participo en el mismo evento, esa carrera no es normalmente mencionada en la historia de esos carros.

Del libro de Bobby Dennet esta interesante foto, habia leido del hecho, pero nunca habia visto una imagen del espacio tan reducido para el pasajero en el Zerex original ya que le fue cambiada la parte central al chasis cuando lo compro McLaren e instalo el motor Oldsmobile.

Long time since your las visit David, here are a few more pictures from the first race of the Zerex in Venezuela.

Esta foto es del mismo dia que una publicada en pilotos y gente allegada.
Aqui se nota la trompa en aluminio que hizo Piovesan para el zerex.

Creo que el de la extrema derecha de la foto es Fernando (Pepe) Osorio (QEPD), en el medio parece Armando (Pelon) Capriles.

El Formula en el Trailer es uno de los Formulas Piovesan (veo el nombre) con un motor VW Super Vee ?

La trompa de aluminio todavia existe. y el motor era porche creo, pero ma?ana le pregunto a ernesto.

La foto era mas que nada por la trompa del Zerex, pero alli van los personajes.
Sergio Trevale, Branko, Pelon Capriles, Gustavo Sandoval, Elias Chebly, Pepe Osorio, Pepe Vaamonde y Reinaldo Martell, el que aparece mas cercano a la camara se los debo.
El motor es un Porsche super 90.

Despues de mucho tiempo se puede volver e ver el chasis del Zerex, aqui un par den tomas para su disfrute amigos.
