Dear all,
first kindly accept my apologies for joining in in English, but I am not able to communicate in Spanish.
Recently I was very fortunate being able to acquire the Maserati 200SI Prototipo, chassis 2401. It is still in very good and original condition, has no paint on the body, exactly like Moss raced it in 1956 on the Nürburgring. However, I will give it back its livery, as it was last raced in period (blue paint and Venezuelan colors on rear mirror) e.g.1960 GP Cuba by Freddy Brandt, when it was owned by Renny Ottolina, who must have been a very fascinating person. Because I think this is historically more logic and I am very fascinated by this last chapter of period race history.
I have seen some fantastic fotos of the car in this forum (Brankok, Diego Lupparelli, jsalgatti 2008-2010).
Of course I would like very much to learn a lot more about this period and would also be very eager to buy some pictures and find more out about these races and possible contacts.
So far, these are the races in Latin America I know of:
1956 GP Venezuela Caracas, Jean Behra 3rd Oa, 1st in class
1957 GP Cuba, Moss dnf
